Open your videos with a clean, branded title. Enter a title and second line, choose a moving gradient, a solid colour or your own photo, add your logo, and pick a fade, slide or slow zoom animation. The intro is rendered as an MP4 in landscape, vertical or square format – and if you add your video, the intro is joined to its start automatically.

Video Intro Maker FAQ
How long should an intro be?
Short: 3–5 seconds. Viewers skip long intros, and platforms reward getting to the content quickly.
Can I add music?
The intro has a silent audio track. Add music in your editor, or attach the intro to a video that already has sound.
What happens to my video when I attach it?
It is resized to the intro format with bars where needed, set to 30 fps and joined after the intro into one MP4. Its sound is kept.
Which fonts are used?
DejaVu Sans, which covers Latin, Greek and Cyrillic letters.
Why does the first run take longer?
The media engine, FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly (about 32 MB), is downloaded once and then cached by your browser.
Is my video uploaded?
No. FFmpeg runs as WebAssembly in your browser, so the video stays on your device.
Building an intro with FFmpeg
A good intro introduces the video in a few seconds: a clear title, recognisable branding and a calm motion that leads into the content. The intro maker renders such clips entirely in your browser with FFmpeg, the engine behind most video software.
The background is generated by FFmpeg filters: a slowly moving gradient between two colours, a solid colour, or your photo, scaled to fill the frame, slightly darkened for legibility and optionally zoomed. Title and second line are drawn with the drawtext filter from text files, so any punctuation is reproduced exactly, with a soft shadow and an opacity curve for the fade.
A logo is placed above the title and fades with it. A silent stereo audio track is added so the intro can be joined to videos with sound without problems.
When you attach your own video, it is fitted into the intro’s frame size with bars as needed, converted to the same frame rate and audio format, and joined into one continuous MP4. Both the intro alone and the joined video are offered for download.
Nothing is uploaded; rendering happens on your device.
