About ToolsHub
ToolsHub is a collection of 100 focused online tools for everyday file, code, text and number tasks.
How the tools work
Most tools here run entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you merge a PDF, compress an image or format JSON, the work happens on your own device and the file is never sent to us. Each tool page states how it processes your data.
A small number of tools need a server: checking a website's status, taking a screenshot of a page, looking up currency rates or shortening a link cannot be done from a browser alone. Those tools send only the information required, over an encrypted connection.
What we aim for
- Privacy first. If the browser can do it, the server does not see it.
- No accounts. Open a tool and use it.
- Honest limits. Where a conversion has known limitations, the page says so.
- Speed. Pages load only the code the tool needs.
Open-source components
The tools are built on well-known open-source libraries, including PDF.js, pdf-lib, Tesseract, FFmpeg, ONNX Runtime and many others. We are grateful to the people who maintain them.
