PDF Brochure Maker

Design a folded brochure and print it on your own printer. Choose tri-fold or bi-fold, add a cover title, tagline and image, write the inside panels in simple text, and fill in the contact panel. The maker places every panel in the right position for double-sided printing on A4 or US Letter, with optional fold lines, and shows a live preview of both sides.

PDF Brochure Maker FAQ

How do I print the brochure?

Print both pages on one sheet, double-sided, with “flip on short edge”. The first page is the outside with the cover; the second page is the inside. Fold along the guides.

Which panel is where on a tri-fold?

Outside, from left to right: the flap that folds in, the back panel with contact details, and the cover. Inside: three panels that open together. This is the standard roll fold.

What if my text is too long?

Panels do not flow into each other. When text does not fit, the brochure gets an extra page and the tool warns you; shorten the longest panel.

Can I use a full-page background image?

The cover image is placed on the coloured cover panel. Full-bleed backgrounds need a printer that can print to the edge, which most office printers cannot.

Which languages are supported?

Latin, Greek and Cyrillic letters, through the built-in Roboto font.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Text and images stay in your browser.

How folded brochures work

A brochure is printed on both sides of one sheet and folded, so the panels do not appear in reading order on the sheet. On a tri-fold, the outside side carries the panel that folds inside, the back panel and the front cover, in that order from left to right. When the sheet is folded, the cover ends up on top, the back panel behind it, and the flap is the first thing a reader sees when opening it. Getting this order right by hand is a common source of mistakes; the maker does it for you.

Good brochures say one thing per panel. The cover needs a name and a promise – who you are and why the reader should open it. The flap is perfect for an offer or a short introduction. The inside answers the reader’s questions in order: what you do, how it works and what it costs. The back panel holds contact details, opening hours and a map reference.

Keep the text short. A panel on A4 is about 9.9 cm wide, room for a heading, a short paragraph and a list of four or five items. Bullet points and numbered steps are easier to scan than paragraphs, and a single customer quote often convinces more than a page of claims.

Office printers leave a white margin around the sheet, so the coloured cover panel may show a thin white edge. For a professional finish, send the PDF to a print shop and ask for printing on 150–170 g/m² paper; the fold lines can be switched off for that version.

The bi-fold option halves the sheet instead: a cover and a back panel outside, two facing panels inside. It suits menus, invitations and short programmes.
