Logo Mockup Generator FAQ

Are these photo mockups?

No. The scenes are drawn with simple shapes, gradients and shadows. They are quick and clean for previews and presentations, not photorealistic product photos.

Why should my logo have a transparent background?

Otherwise its white box appears on coloured products. Use the Logo Background Remover first if needed.

Can I use the mockups commercially?

Yes. The scenes are generated in your browser; there are no third-party photos or licences.

How do dark products work?

Choose a dark product colour; logos on dark products should be light – create a white version with the Logo Black White Converter.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything is generated and processed in your browser.

Why mockups help

A logo on a white artboard says little about how it will work in the real world. Placed on a business card, it must be legible at a few centimetres; on a sign, it must read from a distance; as an app icon, it must survive being reduced to a small rounded square among dozens of others. Mockups make these tests visible.

The generator draws each scene with vector shapes, gradients and soft shadows on a canvas: a stack of business cards with a subtle sheen, a T-shirt with fabric shading, a mug with a cylindrical highlight and a slight squeeze of the logo to suggest its curve, a sign mounted on a textured wall, a phone home screen with your icon among others, and a letterhead page.

On light products, the logo is blended with a multiply mode on fabric and ceramics, so it looks printed rather than pasted on. The logo size slider controls how much of the printable area it fills.

Use mockups to compare variations quickly: a colour version on white and a reversed version on a dark product, or different sizes on a card. For final marketing material, professional photo mockups can follow once the design is settled.
